Hello, I recently found out about Lumiere Cosmetics, and I am looking forward to trying out the products, as they seem better than many other options [like no bismuth! yes!]. I will be buying the sample .01 baggies in different shades of my tone, beige, and I noticed that under each base option, there are blush and concealer and face and body enhancer, etc. recommendations as well, which I think is great because I am still fairly new at makeup and what matches my skin or not! I was wondering though, what would be the difference between the blushes/bronzers and the face & body enhancers? I see that under face & body enhancer, there are pinks and browns, and I could easily just get the pinks and browns that match me [from under the recommendations] and use that as blush and bronzer [or so it seems]. Are the face and body enhancers more sheer? Are there situations or seasons where blush/bronzer would be a better choice or face and body enhance would be a better choice? Would it be a good idea to get both blush/bronzers and face & body enhancers or does it depend on your individual needs? Would you put the face & body enhancers all over your face and upper body [even the pinks???] and blush/bronzer only goes on certain spots of your face only? Thanks! EDIT: By the way, from the looks of the shades, I would probably be a medium deep beige during the summer and probably a medium outside of summer [especially in winter] if it would help any.

From the blushers I've ordered (tons!) and the enhancers I have, I can tell you there is a fairly big difference. Lumieres blushes are very highly pigmented and if applied with a light hand they look sheer in that they are very natural looking. The enhancers for me ( I'm fair) are for the most part too light to be used as blush but some make good bronzers depending on your skin tone. Innocence is my favorite enhancer because it just finishes nicely but I would not say it works as a bronzer. Baby Face is very light and gives a soft finishing color but I wouldn't use it as a bronzer. Island Sands might work as a bronzer for fair skin to medium skin, but in a light way and it has a bit of sheen to it. But- Natural Radiance is an all over color that I can only use as a blusher and it is lovely in that way. It would be a really nice bronzer for medium skin tones I think. Yes- the enhancers and bronzers are more sheer, but in a different way- they don't have the pigmentation or brightness of the blushes. With few exceptions they will not take the place of blush, except if you are very fair or want a minimal coloring. The enhancers, bronzers and blushes each last forever- so you can start small and get plenty of play out of them. I think the color swatches are pretty true to what you see on page. I don't change any of these seasonally really- they are all good year round, for me at least. I am hoping someone else will weigh in because you have some excellent questions.

Thank you very much for answering! It definitely helped me with my decision making on what to get first.

I actually use the Face & Body Enhancer "Nectar" as a blush and that works just fine for me. I am pale and it gives just the perfect shade. Not too sheer and not too dark.
Some of the colors are more sheer though and works better over the whole face for some "glow".
I think you can use these in many different ways. I just love them!
