I'm having a hard time figuring out whether or not I should get the Veena Velvet, Cashmere, or Luminesse finish of foundation. I plan on getting sample baggies, but as you can only choose 5 and only order once per order, I can't get all three in one order, in two shades to try because I will end up having to get foundation in two shades [one for winter, one for summer].
Do you have any preferences over which to use depending on season, occasion, etc? I didn't list the last base finish because I don't have normal or dry skin. I am pretty much combo to oily. I tend to get oiliest on my forehead and nose, and during the summer I can get kind of oily on my cheeks as well. My chin I can say is normal skin.
I was thinking that Luminesse might give the appearance of shininess on my face, especially in my oilier areas. So I was leaning more towards Veena Veil or Cashmere. Cashmere gives a soft silky finish, but would that make oily areas appear more prominently, especially during the summer? Veena Veil is matte, but I don't want to appear dry and flat during the winter either. Is one better than the other for everyday wear? And is one better than the other for special occasions?
If you have any experience with the base finishes, I'd really love to hear your opinions to help me decide. Thanks! ;D

This reply comes late... I apologize!
I'm super oily year-round and I just use the Cashmere formula year round. I don't need heavy coverage, so the Cashmere formula is perfect for me. I have a friend who requires lots of heavy coverage and she is oily as well, and she is very happy with her Veena formula.
I hope this helps!

I really love to use a combination of Veena Velvet (for the coverage) and Cashmere for the finish. It would probably be nice even to use a bit of Luminesse some days for a bit of extra "glow". But since I need extra coverage I always start with Veena. It's great!
