Hi all! A long time ago, I did my best to do some sort of step by step tutorial on how to best find your perfect Lumiere foundation shade in the right base for you. It is here on my blog post: kimandbe.blogspot.com/2008/11/lumiere-cosmetics-foundation-charts.html1. Decide on what coverage and finish you prefer 2. Determine skin tone 3. Figure out how dark you are relative to the color range that Lumiere offers 4. Choose some colors around that range to try! (i.e. if I think I'm a medium, I'd try light medium, medium, and medium dark)

Awhile back, I also did my best to help people determine what skin tone they were if they didn't already know. Hopefully this can point you in the right direction if you need help. Beige: skin contains pink, peach, and yellow tends to tan easily Cool: veins are blue, prefer silver jewelry pink in the skin, tends to burn easily Golden: no pink in the skin, obvious yellow tends to tan easily Neutral: peach skin with no pink or yellow, tends to burn easily Warm: peachy – yellow skin, no pink, green veins, prefer gold jewelry, tends to tan easily Still having trouble determining your tone? This is how I went about finding my skin tone. Using three eyeshadow or blush colors that are as matte as I could get, I would swipe a peachy color, pinkish color, and yellow color on my forearm. The colors that blend in are the tones that I have. The colors that stand out are colors that I do not have. Beige – Peach, pink, and yellow all blend in Cool – Skin is pinker, and the yellow stands out Golden – There is no pink, and the yellow blends in (a more golden version of warm) Neutral – Peachy skin with no pink or yellow Warm – Peach and yellow blend in, and there is no pink

Good explanation of foundation usage. The Foundation you need to use must correctly match the skin color of your. To test for the matching foundation, apply it on your jaw line and see if the color matches the skin color on the neck. This method is more suitable than the apply Foundation on your hand, because the skin tone on the side can be very different compared to the skin tone on the face and neck.

The base you need to use should rightly agree the skin hue of your. To check for the matching foundation, request it on your jaw line and glimpse if the hue matches the skin hue on the neck. I think the smooth brush will be good to apply the mineral foundation to the face with the little quantity. obagi nu derm starter kit
